Why I Quit Equis Financial
I quit Equis Financial because it was not the right fit for me. The company was not a good match for my skills and interests, and I did not feel like I was able to contribute to its success. Additionally, the company’s culture was not aligned with my personal values.
Finally, I had disagreements with upper management about the direction of the company. Overall, quitting Equis Financial was the best decision for me.
I’m not sure if I should be ashamed or proud to say this, but I recently quit my job at Equis Financial. It was a great company and I had an amazing team, but in the end, it just wasn’t the right fit for me. Here’s why I quit:
1) The hours were killing me. I’m not a morning person, so getting up at 6 a.m. every day was torture. By the time I got home at night, I was so exhausted that I didn’t even want to talk to anyone.
2) The work itself wasn’t very fulfilling. Sure, it was challenging at times, but for the most part, I felt like I was just going through the motions. It wasn’t something that made me excited to come to work each day.
3) The pay wasn’t great. Don’t get me wrong, it was decent enough, but considering how long the hours were and how little vacation time we got, it didn’t feel like it was worth it.
4) My mental health was suffering. This one is a bit more personal, but because of all of the above factors (and some others), my anxiety and depression were starting to spiral out of control.
And that’s when I knew it was time to go. So there you have it! Those are my four main reasons for why I decided to leave Equis Financial.
It wasn’t an easy decision by any means, but in the end, I knew it was the right one for me.
Equis Financial Lawsuit
A group of former Equis Financial agents has filed a lawsuit against the company, alleging that they were misled about the income potential of the job and then fired when they couldn’t meet unrealistic sales goals. The plaintiffs allege that they were promised high incomes and told that they could “easily” earn six-figure salaries within their first year on the job. However, they say that the company’s sales goals are impossible to achieve and that agents who don’t hit their targets are quickly let go.
The suit also alleges that Equis Financial uses misleading tactics to sell its products, including telling potential customers that they can get lower insurance rates by signing up for the company’s services. If you or someone you know has been affected by these allegations, we encourage you to contact our office to discuss your legal options.
